- 235 m
- Start: Marienheide, Auf der Alten Fuhr (at Moosberg)
- Destination: Martin-Luther-Straße, 51702 Bergneustadt-Wiedenest (in the forest)
The Wupper's source region is not only blessed with rain but also windy, and the Bergische Panoramasteig trail winds its way through it, past wind turbines and the Unnenberg hill, down to the Genkel Dam. The Agger Dam, with its own beach, and the idyllic village of Lieberhausen, with its colorful church, are further charming stops along the route via Niederrengse to Bergneustadt. The destination itself is equally diverse, boasting both a bustling commercial center and a historic, winding old town complete with a local history museum.
We would like to thank Andreas Rüffler, Uwe Töpfer, Markus Loschko and Annegret Gisevius, who look after the path as volunteer path stewards.
Here you can find all the hosts on stage 7.
