Circular hike between Biesfeld and Dürscheid with a 24/7 vending machine at the Grimberghof farm
Want to see Cologne Cathedral without actually being in Cologne? It's possible from the hills around the Kürten district of Biesfeld. But these stunning views stretching 22 kilometers to Cologne aren't the only things you can enjoy on this tour. Wildflower meadows line the field paths as you walk through the Bergisches Land region. You can stop along the way, for example at the historic Weyermühle mill or at the Grimberghof farm, where you can buy regional produce. And every now and then, you can listen to the gentle murmur of the Weyerbach stream.

Our recommendations for places to eat and drink:
Along this route there is a farm shop and a farm vending machine:

Turn right before the entrance to the "Good Hand" children's village, continue past the sports field.
uphill, at the end of the road on a farm track along the edge of the forest (Cologne Cathedral-
    View!), then downhill to Durhaus
  • 1 Turn left onto the road (marked with a diamond symbol 9) and descend into the valley. At the barrier, turn left again and follow the diamond symbol 9 to Weyermühle.
Follow the road, past Grimberghof (meat vending machine) to Hove.
  • 2 In the village, turn left, through the valley, uphill through a right-hand bend and after the next left-hand bend turn right (A5). Soon you will be along the Weyerbach stream.
  • 3 (Turn right here to Dürscheider Hof, approx. 400 m) On Steegerhöhe road, turn left uphill and continue on the farm track. Follow the "A1" signs straight ahead at the junction until you reach the settlement. Turn right downhill onto Lenzholzer Straße.
  • 4 At the intersection, go straight ahead (Caution: marker A1 turns left here), down to the two-lane road (L286). Turn left onto this road, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing, and follow "A2" onto Buchenweg, up to Biesfeld. Turn left onto the road, then right onto "Am Domberg". At the end of the road, turn right onto the footpath down to the village center and the starting point.
