Cathedral Views Tour

Even for those not from the Rhineland, the Cathedral Views Tour is an unforgettable experience. Cologne Cathedral is an imposing structure and, at the same time, the third tallest church in the world, which repeatedly peeks out from between treetops and hills (of course, only when visibility is good!). Naturally, in addition to the cathedral as a central feature, the approximately 130-kilometer route also guarantees enjoyable driving, as it follows scenic roads. And, of course, there are regular opportunities to stop for refreshments at one of the Bergisches Land's many restaurants and inns.

The northern loop near Witzhelden is worthwhile in good weather and with clear visibility, as there are beautiful views of Cologne from the L359. It is highly recommended to drive the loop counter-clockwise so that you have a relaxed view of Cologne Cathedral in the direction of travel.
