Relaxed gravel tour between Leichlingen, Wermelskirchen and Solingen along the Wupper, the Murbach and on parts of the Panorama Cycle Path Balkantrasse to Burg Castle

This relaxed gravel tour starts in Leichlingen on the banks of the Wupper River. You can arrive by train via Leichlingen station. From there, you'll cycle into the beautiful Murbach Valley and, with a gentle climb, partly along the Balkantrasse panoramic cycle path to Solingen-Burg. Here you can visit Burg Castle and enjoy the stunning views while savoring a typical Bergisches Land waffle or a coffee break.
The return to Leichlingen follows the course of the Wupper River in varied loops. Pretty Bergisches Land villages like Balkhausen lie along the way.
