Witches' Trail, Village of Olpe

The children's hiking trail is a 3,4-kilometer loop starting at the village square in Kürten-Olpe, offering magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and the village itself. Olpa Fiernix, the little witch from Olpe, is the trail's mascot and guides children to ten different information panels and activities. An audio station tells a spooky witch story, which children can listen to intently while seated on a rotating forest sofa on the hills above Olpe. Along the way, children can "make phone calls," walk along a barefoot path, practice balancing, and look through a telescope. Nine exciting riddles await the young adventurers, which, combined with a hidden code-breaking table at the end of the tour, reveal a solution word. A QR code and the solution word unlock a "witch's diploma" as a reward, which can be downloaded to a mobile phone.
 
Play equipment and seating areas invite you to take a break or have a picnic. The path is consistently marked with the little witch symbol. An information leaflet with a route map is available at the starting point, or you can download it in advance. 

The Witches' Path is suitable for strollers, walkers or balance bikes
