Directions

The route starts in Voiswinkel and is marked with a landscape symbol. It begins with a steep climb, but the ascent is rewarded at Sonnenberg with a magnificent view over the Cologne Lowland and Bensberg Castle. The hiker crosses the Scherfbach Valley and reaches Oberodenthal. Between Neschen and Groß Grimberg, Remscheid, framed by forests, can be seen in the distance. The path leads up to Blecher via the Eifgenbach ford. In Glöbusch, the view extends over Leverkusen and the Rhine Valley. Near Osenau, the path crosses the Dhünn River. A gentle climb then leads back to the starting point.
