Jubilee Trail

With the support of the tourism organization "Das Bergische", the leisure and nature conservation association "Sauerländischer Gebirgsverein (SGV)" and the tourism promotion department of the municipality of Kürten, a jubilee trail was created as part of the planning for the 850th anniversary celebration of Kürten-Bechen. The hiking trail connects the villages that belong to the "historical" Bechen and offers scenic views, archaeological monuments and old, characteristic buildings and squares.

The approximately 13,7-kilometer-long circular route leads mostly along forest paths or hiking trails. The starting and ending point is the village square in Bechen, with its parking lot and several places to stop for refreshments.
The trail is marked and signposted with the symbol E. At some points, it is possible to shorten the route or walk only sections of it.
