A pancake house, charming restored half-timbered houses, and a small town center that invites you to stroll: Nümbrecht is a gem in the heart of the Bergisches Land region. This tour combines exploring the town, visiting the graceful Homburg Castle, and a section of the Bergisches Panorama Trail. A great combination for a weekend getaway or an after-work hike.

After 550 meters, turn sharply right, then at the end of a meadow, turn sharply left and follow the Spreitger Bach stream downstream. Pass two ponds, then turn left uphill to Spreitgen. Continue straight ahead in the village.
- 3 Leave the sound trail shortly before Schloßstraße and turn diagonally right following the Δ marker to Homburg Castle.
- 4 Across the road, turn left uphill following the "G" marker. At the top, cross the path. Continue downhill to Bahnhofstraße (Station Street), turn right, and shortly after, turn left onto Friedhofstraße (Cemetery Street). Follow the "G" marker through the cemetery, turn left onto Gouvieuxstraße, then right onto Dorfplatz (Village Square Street) until you reach the main road. Turn right onto the main road and return to the starting point.
