Rotary Way small round

The hiking trail consists of a short 6,5 km loop through the Märchental (Fairytale Valley) near Marienberghausen, and a longer 12,5 km loop via Elsenroth and Huppichteroth. Both loops meet in Marienberghausen and can be hiked individually or combined. The Hotel "Zur Alten Post" and the "Holstein's Mühle" are located along the route and offer refreshments (please check opening times). The trail features a high proportion of natural paths and leads through the typical Oberbergische landscape with its forests, meadows, and small villages.

The Rotary Club Wiehl-Homburger Land initiated the trail and implemented it in cooperation with the Sauerland Mountain Association. The hiking trail is marked with the Rotary wheel as a symbol of movement and support.
