Walk to Krombacher Island

 The hiking trail to Krombacher Island begins at the Nespen hikers' parking area. The Krombacher Island viewpoint at the Wiehl Dam is particularly significant because it lies directly on the important Bergisches Land Panorama Trail. This trail runs for approximately 22 km through the Reichshof holiday region and has a total length of 244 km. Besides Krombacher Island, the log cabin offers a magnificent view, and on clear days, even as far as the Eifel and Siebengebirge hills.
