Storming towers

Start your tour in Wegescheid and follow the X11a to Gummeroth. From there, continue on the A3 trail to Sonnenberg. Here, take the Sommerweg trail to the L306. Keep left towards Herreshagen and then follow the <6 marker over the Kotthauserhöhe through a small wooded area. Cross the road An der Waar and then turn right onto the L196 (Gimborner Straße). Turn left onto Steinstraße and shortly after, left again onto Paul-Lücke-Straße. Follow this road towards Schöneborn and from there take the A7 trail to the Brucher Talsperre reservoir. Once there, turn left and stay on the X3 trail, which leads you around the reservoir. Follow the X3 through a large, beautiful forest, past the forester's lodge in Gevershagen to Dannenberg. Here you will automatically reach the first observation tower of the route. Stay on the X3 trail until you finally reach another observation tower, the "Unnenberg". After a short break, continue on the X3 to Lantenbach via Frömmersbacher Straße towards Erlenhagen. Your route takes you past the Aggertalsperre reservoir, which will be on your left. Continue following the X3 and make a short detour to the "Knollen" observation tower. Then follow the O2 trail through a wooded area to the Derschlag observation tower. Continue following the O2 marker, followed by the X11 marker, through Marienhagen. You are now on the road "An der Höhe". Continue through Scherbusch, following the X11 towards Wiehl. Once at the Wiehl leisure park, follow the I marker through a small wooded area to the Bismarck Tower. Follow the I marker, past linden trees, to Bielstein. From here, follow the U marker to a shelter. Keep right and follow the >12 marker to the "Hohe Warte" observation tower. Continue on the X9 towards Ründeroth until you reach Remerscheid. Switch to the V6 trail towards Apfelbaum. From here, follow the L307 to Birnbaum and Hülsenbusch. Follow Schwarzenberger Straße to Wegescheid, your starting point.
