The hiking trail is a project of the Lobscheid village community and aims to present the village at its best to hikers. In every season, the trail offers highlights for all the senses – the awakening of nature in spring with often very clear views and the melodious chirping of birds, lush green landscapes in summer with shady sections in wood-scented forests, golden autumn with the rustling of leaves, or a dreamy winter landscape with views over snow-dusted hills.
The trail is most recommended in exceptionally clear weather, as it then truly lives up to its name, "Hiking with Panoramic Views." You can see the observation tower in Nümbrecht, Panarbora in Waldbröl, wind turbines in Reichshof, the Klause industrial park in Lindlar, and even the hills of the Siebengebirge range clearly visible – all from a small village in Gummersbach.

Directions
The circular route begins at the information panel, which offers a first panoramic view south to the observation tower in Nümbrecht. The path leads through the village, past typical Bergisches Land half-timbered houses and the "Lobscheider Hof" inn, to the next viewpoint. From the bench there, you can enjoy Lobscheid's most beautiful view and, on a clear day, even as far as Reichshof. After a short stretch along Burbachstraße, turn left onto a farm track and you can see the Klause industrial park in Lindlar in the distance to your right. The path continues into the Meerhardt, a wooded hill offering a superb view over the Agger Valley. After a short descent, the path climbs back up to Lobscheid. Once at the top, continue straight towards Lobscheid and you can already see the chapel in the distance. There, you are treated to one last view over the village with the rolling Bergisches Land landscape and a wide expanse of views in the background. The circular route is not continuously signposted, but initially follows the V1 (up to the "Hundsknochen" hill) and then the A1 for the second half. Please see the flyer below for details. Trail surface: forest tracks, meadow, asphalt
