A truly enjoyable hike includes scenic trails as well as the inviting cafes, huts, and restaurants along the way that beckon you to take a relaxing break. This hike around the Lingese Reservoir leads you to two unique cafes in the Bergisches Land region. Starting from the northern edge of Marienheide, the trail initially heads right around the reservoir. After about two kilometers, you can stop for a break at Café Kaffeekännchen, located in a charming Swedish-style house.
Afterwards, you can walk off the cake on the slightly hilly path along the slopes at the edge of the reservoir, so you have room for more treats at the Pagnia coffee roastery. A good ten kilometers await you here in total.

- From the parking lot on Linger Straße, take the Bergischer Panoramasteig trail uphill towards Moosberg. At the edge of the settlement, turn left, keep right at the fork, and after passing the summit, turn right downhill onto a wide path and follow it to the right. At the T-junction, keep left.
- 1 Turn left at the next intersection and follow signs for "A6" down to Talsperrenstraße. Turn right onto Talsperrenstraße and drive through the village of Linge, passing the Hofcafé. At the intersection with the parking lot, turn left onto Wernscheidstraße (follow signs for A6 and A9). In Lambach, turn left at the parking lot. Take the next left again. Continue along the shore.
- 2 A few meters past the end of the campsite, turn right following the signs for "A9" (shortcut: continue straight ahead on the A6 until you reach the dam at point 7). At junctions, continue straight ahead following the signs for "A7" until you reach the road.
- 4 Turn left immediately onto A2. Keep left in the hamlet of Dorn. Soon turn left again following the "A2" sign.
- 5 Turn right at the junction, then follow signs for "A9". At the intersection, turn left onto the Bergischer Panoramasteig trail.
- 6 Turn left onto this path, then right down to the dam.
- 7 (Coffee roastery 200m straight ahead) Down to the dam and across it to the other side of the valley. There, follow the Bergisches Panorama Trail along the left bank and past the campsite back to the starting point.
