In the northern part of the Bergisches Land region, you'll find what is probably its least populated area. Between the Große Dhünn reservoir and Wipperfeld, this roughly 14-kilometer hike takes you through secluded pastures, where you might encounter a few cows along the way. The trail follows the Große Dhünn river; in Wipperfeld, you'll find, among other things, the restaurant at the Landhotel Napoleon. If you'd like, you can, of course, extend the hike towards the reservoir.

Directions
- Cross the main road, turn right, then left onto Lamsfuß street (shortcut: at the hotel turn directly left along B 506, after a large intersection turn left onto Niederdhünn street, rejoin at point 2).
- At the end of the street, go straight ahead onto the path, then onto Eichendorffstraße until you reach Dorfstraße.
- 1 Turn left, then take the second right onto Felderweg (A4). At the end, turn left onto the farm track into the valley. At the junction, turn left, drive through Oberholl, and cross the B 506.
Turn right, then left (Arnsberg) and follow the road, then the path into the valley. - 2 In Niederdhünn, turn left onto the road and then immediately right again. Stay on the A4 in the valley. Continue briefly downhill on the district road, then turn left again on the A4. In Neumühle, turn left onto the road, then immediately right again, continue straight ahead at all junctions, and follow the A4 up to Hüffen.
Turn left onto the road, down to the Siefen. - 3 There, take the A3 to the left, down into the valley, turn right onto the road, then immediately left again, and take the A3 up to Erlen.
- 4 Shortcut: Turn left and follow the B506 back. Full tour: Cross the B506, continue straight ahead on Erlen Street. At the T-junction with the A3, turn left and continue to Wipperfeld.
- 5 Go straight ahead on Prof.-Mausbach-Straße, turn left at the daycare center (Alter Mühlenweg), turn left at the mini-roundabout, then right up to Dorfstraße, turn left, into
