The Bergischer Weg is Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2024! In the Naafbach valley

The Bergisch Trail leads through wildly romantic, secluded valleys and gently rolling hills on this stage and does not place any excessive demands on the hiker's fitness - once they have mastered a steep climb out of the Aggger valley. In addition to lush nature, you can discover traces of mining, interesting mill history and the secret of the legend of the "Mücher Heufresser", as the inhabitants of the village at the stage destination are known.

If you hike the Bergischer Weg and take photos at certain locations, you can collect points and receive a hiking pin. You can find more information here.

We would like to thank Timm Schelzig and Wolfgang Poremba, who look after the trail as volunteer trail patrons.
