Water is the element of life. The Bergisches Land has quite a lot of it. Numerous reservoirs, rivers, streams and swimming pools provide ample opportunity to go swimming, sailing, canoeing, diving and fishing.
Six lakes invite you to enjoy watersports and leisure activities. In good weather, you can swim, dive or sail under the open sky. A great many leisure pools offer a whole lot of fun in bad weather too. You can switch off and relax while swimming or in the wellness area or romp around in one of the fun pools with the kids.
